ArtsFund’s March 20 Luncheon Postponed
March 5, 2020
Dear ArtsFund Friends, Family, and Supporters –
In light of current developments with COVID-19 in King County, we have made the tough decision to postpone the ArtsFund 50th Anniversary Luncheon scheduled for March 20. As many of you may have seen, King County Executive Dow Constantine and his public health team issued recommendations yesterday to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus outbreak. Among the recommendations, developed in consultation with the CDC, is the suggestion to consider postponing large events and gatherings. Out of an abundance of caution, we are following this suggestion for our special event. More information can be found here.
We have more than 800 registrants for this milestone, 50th anniversary luncheon. In keeping with our concern for the health and safety of our ArtsFund family and friends and the broader community, we will reschedule the luncheon several months out. We will be back in touch with you as dates become firm.
For those with tickets to the event, we’ll be reaching out soon with more details. Thank you for your patience as we monitor and respond to the public health developments. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to Mike Myers at mike@artsfund.org.
A healthy community is the core goal of ArtsFund’s work. Our thoughts are with all those affected by coronavirus, directly and indirectly, and with our region’s arts and cultural providers and artists, who work tirelessly to strengthen community through their work every day.
Please keep safe. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate this together.
Best wishes,
Susan M. Coliton
ArtsFund Interim President & CEO
