On December 2nd and 3rd, members from ArtsFund’s Cultural Partners Network joined together for our first ever Virtual Summit around the theme of Reimagination. With generous support from Amazon, we sought to bring the network together to look beyond current operations and to collectively reimagine and co-create a vision of arts and culture in post-pandemic communities.

On September 17, 2019, ArtsFund hosted its first ever Cultural Partners Summit at Hugo House. The event brought together members of the Cultural Partners Network for connection-building with colleagues in the arts and culture sector and peer learning around creative solutions to common challenges that arts and cultural nonprofits face.

On May 17, 2019, ArtsFund partnered with Town Hall Seattle for a public presentation and panel discussion of the Social Impact of the Arts Study, Arts & Action to Better Our Community. This special panel discussion and civic dialogue brought together arts and community leaders to discuss their perspectives on how the arts can work in tandem with other interventions to tackle the challenges our region faces.

Professionals of color interested in arts board service—this event is for you. Town Hall and ArtsFund join together on Friday, May 17, 2019, 7:30PM to share pivotal research from our first-ever Social Impact of the Arts Study in King County, and to present a panel of local leaders who provide perspectives on how we can engage the arts to strengthen our region in fields such as youth development and education, health and wellness, neighborhood vitality, and more.

On March 20, 2019, supporters from the Puget Sound region’s arts, cultural, public, and private sectors filled the Grand Ballroom of the Westin Seattle for ArtsFund’s 31st Annual Celebration of the Arts Luncheon. Artists, presenters, and supporters came together in celebration of the power of the arts to positively transform our communities and affect positive outcomes for young people.

On Friday, December 7th, 2018, ArtsFund hosted a convening presenting the findings of the Social Impact of the Arts study to representatives from 47 unique cultural organizations titled, Making the Case for the Social Impact of the Arts. The presentation of the report’s findings was followed by a panel discussion on how to leverage the research at attendees’ organizations to highlight the important work they do in their communities.

On Tuesday June 19th and Wednesday the 20th, ArtsFund hosted forums on fundraising and development for cultural organizations, titled From Survival to Success: A Management Platform for Fundraising Success, presented by nonprofit advisory firm Altruist Partners. More than 100 staff and board members attended over the two mornings at K&L Gates, with the first session geared toward organizations with budgets under $1 million and the second at those with budgets over $1 million.
