ArtsFund and KING 5 are partnering to present a full week of TV programming showcasing the links between arts, health and healing. From April 20th-24th segments profiling the programs of ArtsFund grantee organizations will be broadcast daily on New Day Northwest and on Evening Magazine. Profiles include: The Museum of Glass – Hot Shop Heroes: Healing With Fire; Seattle Theatre Group — Dance for Parkinson’s; The Frye Art Museum — Creative Aging; Jack Straw Cultural Center – Blind Audio Youth, and Seattle Arts and Lectures — Writers in the Schools (at Seattle Children’s Hospital). Set your DVRs and tune in to KING 5 the week of April 20th!
