Join ArtsFund to Help Build Racial Justice

Join Seattle’s cultural community for a fun night out in support of The Creative Equity Fund! Hosted by the ArtsFund Visionaries young professionals donor network, HEART BEAT will benefit this new initiative, which supports arts and culture-based strategies that build racial justice and address  structural racism.

Enjoy a night of  art, dancing, music, food tucks, and drinks while making a big difference in our community! 

Arts and culture are powerful tools for engaging the community in collective change. They ignite civil discourse, inspire action, and help us imagine and advocate for a just world. The Creative Equity Fund aims to direct at least $100,000 per year over three years to strengthen and expand creative approaches to racial justice. Creative Equity is a partnership of ArtsFund, Seattle Foundation, Seattle Office of Arts and Culture, Macklemore, Nesholm Family Foundation, and The Boeing Company, administered by Seattle Foundation. The fund was co-designed by a team of community members of color with experience in the arts and philanthropy.

The ArtsFund Visionaries (AFV) connects emerging leaders and business professionals between 21 and 45 years of age to ArtsFund’s vision – a community where the arts are accessible to all and valued as critical to a healthy society. The AFV fosters a culture of giving among younger generations, whose engagement in this community is essential to the future of this region’s civic vitality.
