In case you missed it, our board leadership recently announced that Michael Greer has been selected as ArtsFund’s new President and CEO. Michael’s appointment was the result of an extensive national search and we are excited to officially welcome him to ArtsFund on June 8, 2020. He’ll be coming to ArtsFund from Oregon Ballet Theatre, where he has been Executive Director since 2017. As a former professional dancer and experienced executive, Michael‘s leadership experience spans both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.  

Michael was able to join ArtsFund’s current leadership for our press event on May 4. Speaking on the impacts of the current pandemic for arts and culture, he remarked, “Together we are going to be the foundation of this recovery. Our sector will recover, and when it does, ArtsFund will be here to amplify those voices and further strengthen the foundation of arts and culture that so much of this community rests upon.“ We look forward to sharing more from Michael with you this summer!
